Explore Jungle Park, Parque Las Aguilas
Jungle Park covers 7.5 hectares of land that has been planted with a jungle theme to create a suitable backdrop to the zoo and activities at the park.
Jungle Park has a large variety of animals including orang utangs and chimpanzees and various large cats including leopards and jaguars. There are also a wide range of birds including lots of exotic birds and birds of prey. Overall there are more than 500 animals.
Jungle Park has a show demonstrating the hunting skills of birds of prey including falcons and eagles. There is also an exotic bird show with parrots, macawas, hornbills and more showing off their skills. Both of these shows take place twice daily, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. There is also a sea lion show every afternoon and you can join the penquins for feeding time each afternoon too.
As well as the birds and animals there are various activities at Jungle Land. There is a jungle adventure attraction called 'jungle raid' where you can try out the rope bridges, tunnels and passages. There is also a sort of bob sleigh track where you can cover an 800 meters course through the jungle on a fast 'sled'. This ride is not included in the general park entrance fee.
There are a range of snack bars available in the park though you can take your own picnic.
