Los Geranios, attractive studio with views down to Puerto Colon harbour.
This comfortable studio apartment has just been completely refitted and is situated with balcony overlooking the walkway down to the harbour, a perfect spot to sit and watch the amazing sunsets that Tenerife has to offer.
Los Geranios has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It is a very well maintained complex with attractive outdoor pool which is heated in winter and also has free use of sunbeds around the pool. Although there are many privately owned apartment on the complex, LosGeranios is part of the well respected Hovima chain of Aparthotels, which also comprises Club Atlantis, La Nina etc. This makes for a nice mixture of nationalities staying here.

There is a 24 hour reception, with helpful friendly staff, where you can purchase postcards and stamps, arrange car hire if needed etc. We have public internet access, a launderette, a daytime pool bar for drinks, snacks and meals. A buffet breakfast can also be purchased if you feel like a change from self catering. There is night security - when entry to Los Geranios is then by door card only, and a lift to all floors.
Even though Los Geranios is so central and convenient to all amenities it still has a nice intimate feel to it, it isn’t a vast impersonal place. The pool bar closes late afternoon so you are not disturbed by late night noise around the complex and you are free to do your own thing, make your own choice. This is a very popular complex with many people returning year after year.

Around and about
The location really is ideal, being 2 mins walk to the San Eugenio shopping centre with the large Mercadona supermarket. It is just two minutes down to the beaches, and easy walking distance to numerous restaurants. Los Geranios itself has just been in the centre of a new road layout and outside the front entrance it is now a wide boulevard, designed to allow one way traffic only, therefore making the whole area more attractive.
It’s lovely to take a leisurely stroll down to La Pinta beach, perhaps to buy fresh rolls and a daily newspaper, or take a look around the harbour admiring the many yachts. From there, allow yourself time for the walk around the headland to Fanabe beach, past all the luxury hotels and on as far as the little fishing village of La Caleta. Or go in the other direction and take the path along Geranium Walk into Las Americas and onwards to Los Cristianos .
If you have not visited Playa de Las Americas for a few years you will be surprised by the changes, all for the better. The local council for the Adeje area have really made big improvements – new sandy beaches with crystal clear waters, an abundance of 5 star hotels, landscaping and palm trees with flowers everywhere, super new shopping centres, you cannot fail to be impressed with the new Arona/Costa Adeje areas. Playa de Las Americas has really shaken off its old image and is attracting Europeans who demand quality.

Taxis are not necessary as the local buses are part of your holiday fun, they are clean, efficient and reliable and they can take you to most parts of the island.
